From Longboat Key to Manasota Key you'll find over 35 miles of white sand beaches, an abundance of recreational activities, water sports, golf courses, exceptional dining, intrinsic architecture, along with the areas contagious "life's a beach" attitude.

Bird Key.   Bird Key is located off the John Ringling causeway between downtown Sarasota and Lido Key. This exclusive gated community is a boater’s paradise with deepwater canals and a private yacht club.  Its 510 homes include spectacular bayfront estates, some owned by celebrities.

Lido Key / St. Armands Key.  Lido Key is located just west of downtown Sarasota via the John Ringling Bridge.  It is also accessible by bridge to Longboat Key to the north.  Features include St. Armands Circle, a world-renowned shopping and dining destination; South Lido Park, a 100-acre natural waterfront park; and Lido Public Beach.  The Gulf, Bay and Sarasota skyline provide spectacular views for luxury condominiums, upscale homes and luxury hotels.

Longboat Key.  The northernmost of the Sarasota barrier islands, Longboat Key is located half in Manatee County and half in Sarasota County.  The 11-mile island paradise is connected by bridge to Anna Maria Island to the north and Lido Key to the south.  Home of world-class golf and tennis resorts, Longboat Key is a wonderland of manicured fairways and opulent high-rise condominiums lining the Gulf of Mexico.

Nokomis.  A quaint community north of Venice and south of Osprey features a marvelous shoreline, abundant water recreation, numerous water front neighborhoods and several golf courses. www.baypointnokomis.com

Osprey.  Located just south of Sarasota is a diverse community offering outdoor activities, local restaurant fare and multi-million dollar homes on the Intracoastal.  Home to Oscar Scherer State Park with 15 miles of hiking trails, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and camping, along with the Historic Spanish Point. There are no fast food chains in Osprey, though local restaurateurs offer up exceptional cuisine, casual, elegant and waterfront dining. www.ospreyfla.com

Venice.  A progressive, yet historically focused community, enjoys incredible water access via the Gulf and Bay creating a virtual water playground for outdoor enthusiasts.  Venice is designated as a Florida Main Street City and prides itself on its Northern Italian Renaissance architectural style. www.venice-florida.com

Englewood.  Billed as the "Gem of the Suncoast" "where livin' is easy," Englewood is probably one of Florida's best kept secrets. This easy-going beachfront community boasts magnificent shoreline, exceptional water sports, beachfront cottages, turquoise water and spectacular sunsets. www.englewood-florida.com

Manasota Key.
A quiet island south of Venice,  with no traffic, or high rises. Both the northern and central part of the island are completely residential and  located in Sarasota County.  A narrow road snakes its way along the Key past island homes, many of which have their back yard on the bay and their front yard on the Gulf. The southern part of the island is in Charlotte County and features condos, restaurants and shopping.
